Mary Frances Willis

Mary Frances Willis was born on August 13, 1918 and left this world to spend eternity with God on Friday September 4, 2015 at the age of 97. She was the baby of her family and was adored by her parents and four older brothers. She married Russell Willis in 1939 and they were happily married until his passing in 1994. Frances and Russell had two sons, David Willis, who died in 2002, and Ken Willis of Sugar Land, TX. She is survived by her son Ken, grandchildren Katrina Masek, Connie Dendy, Electra Berry, Jennifer Beech, Jill Nesting, Russell Willis, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Frances always helped and encouraged her family, even as her health began to fail in recent months. She always loved to hear about the achievements and accomplishments of her grandchildren and was filled with love and pride for each one them. She taught her family to love God, live simply and remain humble. She will be remembered by her family for always focusing the limelight on others and for being a staunch supporter of her family members until her very last day.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Sugar Land, TX on Friday September 11, at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sugar Creek Baptist Church or Second Mile Mission Center.
