Nancy Rafaela Cook passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the age of 55. Nancy was born on October 24,1954 in Havana, Cuba to Hector and Nancy de Vega. Nancy became the mother of her only child, daughter, Candice Dawn Cook on February 28,1980. She became a resident of the Houston area 28 years ago as a loving and devoted mother.
Nancy leaves behind her devoted parents, Hector and Nancy de Vega; siblings Hector de Vega Jr, (wife Linda), Vivian Buesking (husband David) and Charles de Vega (wife Betsy).
She also leaves behind her loving daughter, Candice Dawn Cook.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford with a Memorial Service to begin at 6:00 PM.
The family requests that any floral arrangements please be sent to the Memorial Service at Earthman Southwest Chapel for Saturday, September 25th, 2010.
