OLIVER MAX SPARKS, age 86, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Stafford, Texas. He was born on December 21, 1925, in Downers Grove, IL, to Thad and Laura Colbert Sparks. Oliver was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Olive Zelko; brother, Lorne Sparks; sister, Theda Howard; and daughter, Sandra Neuman. He is survived by his wife, Sara Tharpe Sparks; and sons, Tom, Gerry, and Tim Sparks. A Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, also at Earthman Southwest Chapel, with a reception immediately following. Interment will follow the reception at 1:30 PM, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston.
