We would like to send our sincerest condolences to the Gomez Family on the sudden loss of our friend Omar Gomez Jr. Known to many as DJ Arsanik, Omar Jr. was someone we watched grow up into a fine talented young man who loved music and helped us on many occasions to entertain at various events over the years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his father (our one time guitarist and fellow Musicial Brother in Arms) Omar Gomez Sr., his family and many friends. We share their grief during this difficult time. We will miss him dearly.

Rest in Peace

Our heartfelt condolences to the Gomez and the Contreras family for the immeasurable loss of your beloved son, brother and uncle. We are so deeply saddened and shocked by the news of his untimely passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

We meet Omar through our daughter who went to the same middle school with him. We shared many holidays and special events with him. A true gem! Omar was a very kind, giving and humble person. He was a true friend which was displayed by his actions and unselfish deeds. He had a heart of gold that gave unconditionally and did not expect anything in return. He made you laugh, and he knew how to enjoy life. He always had sayings that would make you think. He taught many people not to judge a book by its cover.

Death can never take a good man away, for, in the hearts of people, he inspired. His legacy remains and will continue throughout. Omar, give my mom and dad a kiss and hug from me. I know my mom will tell you “ Omar, y la musica?” I know you are making the all the angels dance. It was an honor to know you.

Till we meet again,

Of ALL the many blessings in our lives however big or small to have had you as our Godson was the greatest honor of all. However, the family chain is NOW broken, and nothing will ever be the same, but know that as God takes us one by one the chain will link up again.

We know in our heart that you are now with grandpa and are both singing and dancing with the angels.

Know that your cousins Joseph, Celyna and Nevaeh will never forget about you.

Love you forever and always !!!!

Omar Jr., you had a beautiful soul and you were so full of life and love for others. I will remember most how you never hesitated to lend a hand. You DJ’d for my niece’s graduation party and gave everyone such a great time. You were humble, open, honest, funny, and just so wonderful to be around. Thank you for touching my life with your positivity. I am saddened you are no longer here, but I know that you are in a better place, and there is one more guardian angel watching over us.

Love you man!

Omar was family and a friend. He was always cool even under pressure. If you needed him he was there for you, he was the DJ at my brothers wedding. He was the kind of person you really enjoyed being around. He is greatly missed and will never be forgotten. He is DJ Arsnik Rest in Love Bro.

So much to type and to share it would be more than 2,000 words I’m allowed to. What a great person, friend and brother. I could always count on you for a different perspective and also just knowledge, always stood firm in beliefs and stayed disciplined to those practices. Not many left like you, I’m blessed to have known you and shared the few parties we had together. Rest in power King.
