

PAULETTE ANNE SULLIVAN LYON, age 41, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, in Creedmoor, North Carolina. Anne was born on December 30, 1970, in Houston, Texas. She studied to become a travel agent, in which she pursued a career for over ten years, and later went on to study criminal law in college. Anne loved all animals, especially French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers. She derived great pleasure from sharing her French Bulldogs with the elderly during her visits to nursing homes. Anne was an experienced equestrian. She enjoyed entering show riding competitions with her Dales Ponies, Prim and Cowboy. Anne was also a counted cross stitch enthusiast. She enjoyed traveling and cruising around the world, visiting Belgium, Panama, the Bahamas, and Mexico. Anne was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Daniel Schroder. She is survived by her loving husband, James Edward Lyon; son, Jim Bryan Schroder; parents, Daniel Stephen Sullivan, III and Paula Brunner Sullivan; sister, Clara Marie Lawrence and her husband Michael; and nephews, Mikey and Bryan Lawrence. A Visitation with the family will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford, with the Funeral Service to immediately follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the USO, at www.uso.org.
