Peter Radu Basarabescu

Peter Radu Basarabescu, 66, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at 9:01pm at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the medical center following a brief illness. He leaves his loving wife, Rosalinda Castillo Basarabescu, his three sons, Andre, Phillip and Franco; three wonderful grandchildren: Alex, Aidan and Gianna; his beloved sister Ninei and niece Loredana in Romania, and last but not least innumerable friends held dear to his heart. Peter Radu was born in Constance Romania to Ion and Emilia on June 26, 1946. Although he was raised in the communist country of Romania, he dreamed of leaving it for the opportunities he believed only the United States had for his family. One of Peter’s greatest pride and joy was to see his sons succeed in this country full of opportunity and freedom. Always being a lover of nature he found profession in landscaping and founded Green Management. Peter was blessed with meeting his wife and soul mate Rosalinda, loving Franco as his own and becoming an exceptional role model. Peter often sought adventure by traveling with his family. He especially loved scuba diving and deep sea fishing. He was always seeking to grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally. His greatest passion of all was spending time with his family. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 10:00 am, Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX.
