

Reginald Bernard Jacobs was born on March 24, 1968, to Adam Jacobs and Dorothy Lee Coleman Jacobs. He departed this life on October 6, 2026, at Houston Hospice. He was a faithful member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He completed all his sacramental rights, and he was an altar server. He attended Lorena Oates Elementary School, M.B. North Middle School and West Orange-Stark High School; he attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri and Lamar State College in Orange, Texas.
He moved to Houston in 1989. He earned an Associates of Science in Electronics and Robotics from Rets Electronic Institute. He was a manager at Jiffy Lube. He also maintained various jobs while living in Houston, Texas. His most current place of employment was Gulf Coast Bags Co. where he served as the office manager for twelve years. He faithfully attended Holy Family Catholic Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, his sister Anessia Rene Chambers (Carlos), his four beautiful children, Raven Lynn Jacobs, Reginald Bernard Jacobs II, Jessilynn Ruth Jacobs, and Nicholas Adam Jacobs, as well as his three granddaughters, Carsyn Lynia Cooper, Sage Reign Jacobs, and Emersyn Dream Cooper, one nephew/Godson, Jalen Adam Chambers and his Godparents Dr. Hubert and Mary Monroe. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Brooks Hill, his paternal grandmother Julia Ashford Jacobs, his great-grandmother, Mary Hazel Brooks, his aunt Mable Monroe, and four uncles, Alvin Jacobs, Howard Jacobs, Albert Jacobs, and Solomon Jacobs. He had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends. Also left to cherish his memory are his classmates from West Orange-Stark High School (Class of 1986).
A visitation will be held at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road in Stafford, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church,1510 5th Street in Missouri City on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
