

Junior accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Reverend Johnnie M. Sanders at Hills of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Detroit, MI. He graduated from Southeastern High School in 1974 and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he received training as an electronic technician. Junior served our country for four years and was honorably discharged in 1978. After his military discharge, he continued working as an electronic technician until he retired in 2012.
Junior loved connecting with family and friends and always found a reason to laugh. He enjoyed playing chess, creating, and listening to music, watching Jeopardy while answering some of the most challenging questions, and trading the stock market during the day. He was a muscle car enthusiast and frequently offered advice on social media. Jr. was highly creative and took considerable pride in making things. His most recent creation was an electric solar generator he used during power outages in Texas.
Junior was a man of unwavering integrity, a trait that earned him high regard and respect from his family, friends, and coworkers. His honesty and strong moral principles were evident in all his interactions.
Junior leaves his son, three sisters, four brothers, an aunt and a host of nephews, cousins, and friends to remember and cherish his memory and legacy.
