Rita Marie Blevins

Rita Blevins Giamarino passed away unexpectedly and peacefully, surrounded by family in her home on 7/3/2021 date in Sugar Land City, Texas at the age of 81. Rita was born on 4/10/1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Victor and Bonnie Giamarino

She is preceded in death by her Mother Bonnie Webb, Fathers Vic Giamarino and Guy Webb, and Sister Donna Knight

Rita is survived by her five sons Ronnie, Carl and Ricky Quast, Glenn and Derek Atkinson, daughters Kena Rodman, Jessica Blevins, and Monica Atkinson, 12 Grandchildren Chandler and Natalie Atkinson, Landon, Julian and Cameron Atkinson, Katelyn and Tanner Rodman, Mya and Alana Zarate, Jeremy, Tiffany, and Ashley Quast. sisters Rosetta Weisner and Christine Weaks, nephews Shawn Courrage and Jason Weaks.

She graduated from High School in 1958. She attended the University of Missouri, Spencer School of Real Estate, and Houston Community College. She married Kenneth Blevins in December of 1982 and would have celebrated their 39th anniversary on December 11th. Rita worked in the field of Commercial building management for Motley and Associates, Powers Investment Builder, Kaplan-Beeson Properties, Parkway Investment Partners, and Patrick O’Connell Realty. She also worked for Reed & Associates in residential development. She was full of Love enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whenever possible. She was proud of all of her children and grandchildren. Her smile was infectious and constant. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casino.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on July 12th at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home in Stafford, Texas with a reception to follow. Pastor Sidney Hammond will officiate the ceremony.
