

At the appointed time (three days after her 93rd birthday), the heavenly escort arrived to usher Mother into the presence of God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There she was reunited with her family and friends who preceded her. Now she is happy and safe.
Ruby was born in Norman, Oklahoma, the youngest of nine children. Her family experienced The Dust Bowl and the Great Depression. Her four brothers served in World War II. Despite the hardships, she grew up singing alto in the girls' quartet.
Charles Trimble, her husband of sixty-one years, served in World War II, before they were married in 1945, and The Korean Conflict after their first child, Vicki, was born. Their second daughter, Debbie, was born at Camp Polk, Louisiana.
Mom continued as a military spouse until Dad retired in 1968. They moved many times during those years: Fort Riley, Kansas, Kitzingen, Germany, Fort Benning, Georgia, Gelnhausen, Germany, and Irving, Texas. After Dad retired, they moved to Houston, Texas, Overland Park, Kansas, and finally, back to Houston where he retired a second time.
During all those travels, Mom made many friends through square dancing all over the world, singing in church, playing duplicate bridge (Life Master), modeling, sewing, reading, bowling, knitting, cooking, and playing games with her children.
Her family: Older daughter, Vicki, and her husband, Jim. their two daughters:
Kimberly and Erin, Erin's husband, Kevin, their two children Brayden and Bellamie. Younger daughter, Debbie, and her three children: daughter Elizabeth, and her husband Steve, and their daughters, Adeline and Eloise, and sons James and Joshua.
