Shelly Marie Perrault

Shelly Marie Perrault was born on August 26, 1978, in Galveston, Texas, to her loving parents, Mary Perrault and the late Wilferd Perrault Jr. On October 8, 2025, Shelly peacefully gained her heavenly wings, surrounded by love. Shelly was raised in Houston, Texas, where she attended Jane Long Elementary, Welch Middle School, and graduated from Westbury High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Belhaven University in December 2017 – a proud and joyful milestone for both her and her family.

From an early age, Shelly accepted Christ and was baptized, beginning a lifelong journey of faith. She was a devoted member of Bethel Family Church for over 20 years under the leadership of Pastor August, and most recently, she worshiped at Legacy Church for the past eight months.

In 2019, Shelly followed a divine calling and founded her ministry, God is My WiFi (Walking in Faith Intentionally) – a powerful source of inspiration through her words, prayers, and daily motivational messages. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to launch a Slingshot rental business in 2022, reflecting her drive, creativity, and love for her community.

Shelly is survived by her loving mother, Mary Perrault; her five sisters, Sheila, Sheree, Sharonda, Shay, and Kim; and her cherished grandson, Jayce Demease. She also leaves behind a host of adored nieces and nephews; Jacoby, Jamarick, Averiana, Shatlin, Scoop, and Seth; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father, Wilferd Perrault Jr. (1991), and her beloved son, Johnny Ray Demease III (2018). Shelly’s life was a radiant testament to love, faith, and resilience. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering belief in lifting others through faith and kindness. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.
