I met Pat many years ago when my children were still little (they are now grown ) and like so many others I considered her to be a second Mom. It seemed that I could always turn to her for advise whenever needed and she always made you feel special. We had a connection because I bought her daughter's house and she made it possible for me. She and Jim were like parents to me. I will miss them tremendously and hope that they spend eternity together, smiling, laughing and watching over us all. God's speed my friend. You will be sorely missed!

My aunt Pat was a loving,beautiful,kind and caring person to any one she met. She was was  my second mother to me. We would talk almost ever other day. She somehow new when  when I was getting ready to do something even sometimes before I did and would and would  always says you better be have your self. She will be greatly missed. R.I.P AUNT PAT.

Shirely took me in 3 years ago she became my gardian over somthing my socail security it was a big thing I didnt know who to trust or belive but I knew Shirely wouldnt do me wrong we would call her mema because everyone did she wasnt just a friend or company she was family I looked up to her as someone I could tell anything to even if I would have  bad day she would cheer me up with her smile she was my shopping buddy as well we would talk for hours on end at night watch movies an go out to eat at night

Shirley Patricia Ricotta Theis, was a mother, and is survived by 5 boy and daughter- Nick and wife Deborah Dockum, Delbert and wife Debbie, Jerry and wife Bobbie, Raymond, Richard Dockum and her daughter Traci Joe Dockum-Brusse and one step-son Jeff Theis. She is also survived by Fourteen Grandchildren and she also had seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Shirley was raised in Pueblo, Colorado were she was born into a family of Thirteen Uncles and Aunts and when she was a baby her mother passed away and was raised by her aunt and uncle that she would call mom and dad for the rest of here life, Nick and Helen Ricotta, she would later marry, Leonard Dockum and would make several move in life as her husband was a builder and rancher and they would live in Colorado, New Mexico and eventually settling in Hondo, Texas on a Ranch where she would raise her family until the early 70's when the ranch was sold and moved to San Antonio, TX and would divorce and would later marry John Jones, who was in the USAF and would retire and start his own very successful business. This marriage would end and but they would stay good friends and in 1980 would meet Jim Theis whom she would marry and stay together until his death in October 1, 2008. 
She would continue to run her husband's construction business until her death. Shirley (mom) was a friend and companion and was a great talker and loved everyone and she was always there to put out a helping hand. She took in Allison and was helping her get on feet and Allison was helping mom as well. She had extended family in Mike and Tony Klein, Mustafa and many others that got to know here over the years.
She loved going and watching here great grandkids when they played sports and other talents.
She had so many friends over the years that she worked with or new and they all remained friends to the end.

Mom will be missed by us all, but now she in in Heaven and has no more pain and can be with all her family that has gone before her.

May she rest in Peace.
