

Susan Anne Trefny Clark, of Missouri City, Texas died unexpectedly on July 16, 2016, at the age of 59. Susan was born in Houston on May 7, 1957 to Robert and Pauline Trefny. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy, attended Texas A&M and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a BBA in Information Technology. She retired from Neasi Weber as a programmer and Director of Business Development. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Susan was an activist, a tireless fighter against injustice and for woman's rights. She was active in the Fort Bend Democratic Party where she served as treasurer, precinct chair, election judge, and voter registrar. More recently, she was elected to be the Senate District Executive Committee person for Senate District 17. She served as a delegate numerous times at the state convention, participated in District Conventions serving as chair and secretary.
Also close to her heart was her volunteerism at Wellsprings Village, a women's shelter, where she served as president of the guild.
Susan is survived by her husband, John Clark, mother, Pauline Trefny, her daughters Billie Smith (Glen) and Kimberley Walker (Jimmy) her grandchildren, Dean, Faith and Hanna, sisters Kerry Drabek, (Donald), Kristy Beins (Pete), and Nicole Wood (John) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Trefny.
Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on July 21st at the Earthman Funeral Home South on Kirkwood at 59. Burial immediately follow at Forest Park Westheimer.
