Sybil Irene Davenport Brownson (65 years old) was born in Speaks, Texas on August 25, 1951 and went to be with her lord and savior on September 11, 2016 in Sugar Land, Texas. Sybil was a devoted housewife and mother who will be remembered for her ability to always cook the best dishes around.
Sybil is survived by her husband of 43 years, James William Brownson, Jr.; sister, Shirley Edwards; two sons, James Scott Brownson and wife, Julie and Jeffrey Wayne Brownson and wife, Ashley along with four grandchildren, Sydney, Hailey, Blake and Jacob. Sybil is preceded in death by her father, Charles Davenport; mother, Pearl Davenport; brother, Charles David; and sister, Barbara Gates.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Earthman’s Funeral Home located at 12555 South Kirkwood in Stafford, Texas 77477 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family would like a donation sent to the Anne McCormick Sullivan Foundation.
