Theresa Ann Rocz

Theresa was born on February 6, 1931 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Theresa married the love of her life, Edward A. Rocz in 1955. The couple settled in Houston in the early 1950’s, where they raised their two children; Tony and Laura.

Theresa was a long time Houstonian, residing here for over 65 years.

Theresa was a dedicated and hard worker. She worked for WD Haden Company for over 20 years and volunteered

at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for 23 years.

Theresa was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very proud of her family and was a wonderful grandmother to her five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Theresa loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours preparing for her company.

Theresa was known for her upbeat personality and good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Rocz, devoted mother of Laura Louise Rocz Carter and husband Mike, Anthony (Tony) E. Rocz and wife Teri, her grandchildren Russell Carter and wife Gale, Philip Carter and wife Gabby, Nicholas (Nick) Rocz, Travis Rocz and wife Jennifer, and Nathan Rocz, and her great grandchildren Tyler and Jayden Rocz and Riley Carter (on the way).

Family and friends will gather at the Earthman Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, Texas on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, for Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

The Mass Of The Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m, Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos Rd., Houston, TX 77036.
