Warren H. Stevens Jr. passed away on 31 Mar 2020 at the age of 81 after a brief illness. Due to the COVID pandemic, his final arrangements were delayed until 25 Jun 21.

Warren lived life on his own terms. He was a dedicated family man who loved his family dearly and spent as much time with them as possible. He had a passion for service to his country, community activities and politics. He served his country proudly in the Navy, volunteered as Boy Scout Leader, USNA Blue and Gold Officer, Sunday school teacher and served many years as his precinct election judge. His success can be measured by the many people he helped over the years, from family to strangers. When he made a friend, it was a friend for life. May he rest in peace and be with his Guardian Angel, Helene Stevens.

Warren is survived by his lovely wife of 60 years (Pauline Stevens), 3 sisters (Marlene Edelblute, Helene Lehman, Bonnie Wise), 4 children (Patricia McClendon, Nancy Freyer, Glenn Stevens, Wayne Stevens), 4 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. Due to the COVID pandemic, he passed away alone, but will not be forgotten by anyone who knew him.

If sending flowers, please send to Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S Kirkwood Rd., Stafford, TX 77477. However, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Disabled American Veterans Charity.

Dear Dad,

I love you so much!! I really appreciate all the dear things you have done for me.

You sacrificed everything for your family. Your love is unconditional & endearing through your actions in life.
You were a true leader of the pack. I enjoyed your humor as you chatted with people & made them feel special.
Through the years, you taught me so much about life & nonverbal tough love. You helped everyone in such a unique way making them feel loved individually.

I believe you are in a wonderful place where you are reunited with many loved ones. You gave me this faith in so many ways as a teacher of religion & just being an awesome father to me.

I miss you so so much Dad
I LOVE YOU ETERNALLY

My Dad and I went fishing quite often at Lake Somerville. In his later years he would just routinely call and talk to me about the latest news or trivia to quiz me on. Miss those days...miss you Dad. Love you.
