Wayne Edward Stone Sr.

Wayne E. Stone, Sr., 75 of Needville, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 24, 1941 in Kankakee, Illinois. He is retired from the State of Texas Road and Bridge out of Rosenberg, TX, where he won numerous safety awards.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Rita Young-Stone; son, Wayne Stone, Jr.; sister, Vicki Fitch and husband Harold; brother, Ricky Stone; step-children, Jake Young, Jerrold Young and wife Stacy, Denise Young, Danielle Young, Danielle Hunt, Brandy Eckles-Meyer and husband Troy, Jerry Meyer and wife

Enda, Mari Farber and husband Steve, Mathew Caldwell, Promise Tachatuverous and husband Kosta; brother-in-law, Eric Young and wife JoAnne; grand children, Ashley Seck, Hailey Lieker, Ellie Tachatuverous, Luca Tachatuverous, Emma Meyer, Cheyene Meyer, Lakota Meyer, Austin, Brandon, Cheyenne, Cameron and Jacob Young, Cole Weido. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ER doctors, Neurologists, and staff of St. Luke's Hospital Medical Center, Houston, TX, along with Dr. B. Badresh Shah and his staff and Zan Franklin.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
