Young Ja Kim of Meadows Place, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born July 6th, 1938, in Seoul, South Korea where she grew up surviving the Japanese occupation and the invasion of Communist North Korea.
Young Ja graduated from Yonsei University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She retired from MD Anderson after 21 years as a Medical Technologist.
She was devoted to her family, church and career. She loved her husband and children more than life itself.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Chin Hong Kim and cherished son, Danny Kim.
She is survived by her precious son John Kim.
The family would like to show gratitude to All of God’s children of all the churches involved, including Tallowood Baptist Church and Korean Tallowood Baptist Church.
