

Nita was born on July 20, 1948 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Henry and Alice Wright. She grew up in Lynchburg and Alexandria and graduated from George Washington High School. She was previously employed with Fairfax County Schools as a Clinic Aide and along with her family was a long time resident of Burke.
Nita is survived by her husband of 39 years, Scott Hulick, a daughter, Amy Marshall and husband Mark, sons, Stewart Hulick, and Scotty Hulick and wife Kim, two grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Marshall. She is also survived by her father, Henry B. Wright, Sr. and a brother, H. Boggs Wright, Jr., wife Susan and several nieces and nephews.
Nita, was a loving wife, mother, Nana, aunt, daughter and friend. She was truly an inspiration to those around her as she struggled with multiple illnesses over many years. A favorite quote of hers was; “It’s not the load that breaks us down, it’s the way we carry it.” She lived by those words and her strength was enduring. She was especially proud to be a Mother and a Nana and she will leave her family with many special and happy memories.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 22 at Antioch United Methodist Church 138 Kellogg Mill Rd. Fredericksburg, Va. at 1:00 pm with internment to follow in the church cemetery.
