Barbara Jean Rainwaters

She was the fourth daughter of Clarence and Lillian Brewer of Boise, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; five children: Tucker Barrett of Great Falls, MT., Bradley Barrett and wife Robin of Nashville, TN., John Rainwaters of Seattle, WA., Lisa Noble and her husband William of Troy, NY., and Dezaree Rainey and her husband James of King George, VA.; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving Barbara is her three sisters; Patty Eytchinson and her husband Ronald of Signal Mountain, TN. Susanne Jensen and her husband Art of Eagle, ID., and Joann Newcombe of Boise, ID.

Barbara enjoyed a number of different professional positions in civil service employment and in support of the military. She became a Marine’s wife in 1988 and traveled the United States and Japan before finally settling in Stafford, VA. Barbara retired from civil service and enjoyed the company of her pets. Barbara was a loving wife, best friend, mother, and sister who cared deeply for her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 28 from 6-8 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday October 29 at 12 PM with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
