Barbara Elizabeth Snyder

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Kenneth Snyder; her daughter Erin Sever and son-in-law Andrew; her beloved grandsons Matthew and Gabriel; her brother John E. King Jr.; as well as many cousins, nieces, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Melinda, and her eldest daughter Lisa.

Barbara dedicated 48. years of her life to nursing, caring for countless patients with unwavering strength, skill, and compassion. Known for her toughness and her heart, she was admired by all who worked alongside her and loved deeply by those who knew her.

She found joy in the sound of marching bands, the peace of the OBX beaches, family gatherings and the love of her pets. Her love, guidance, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
