Early Life:
Brie Love was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 18, 1978, to parents Jimmy and Becky Love, who she adored dearly. Born into a military family, she grew up in the Netherlands, England, and Northern Virginia area looking up to her older sister, Jhvoir, who didn’t know a sport she couldn’t conquer. Brie would later come to call Phoenix, Arizona her home for much of her life, but most recently, she and her sister, Niambi, relocated to Stafford, Virginia to advocate and oversee care for her family and parents as their age and health-conditions progressed. Following in the footsteps of her father, she learned to find humor in life’s joys and hardships alike, and her optimism brought joy for many of those that knew her. From admiring her mother, she learned to apply an unwavering assertiveness, of which she utilized to mold her life into one of success and accomplishments. She’s often referred to them as her true role models. Brie attended Springfield High School in Springfield, VA. She studied Interior Design/Industrial Design at Mesa Community College, before starting a career at Wells Fargo, 26 years ago, cementing herself as a highly respected figure within the company. Through her tenure at Wells Fargo, Brie’s industry knowledge and leadership blossomed forth several life-long friendships, as well as made countless impacts that will continue on beyond her passing.
Life Partner:
Brie met the love of her life, Daniel Silicato, in September 2018 at one of her friend's bachelorette party. Their mutual friends had been trying to set them up, convinced they would be the perfect match. The moment Daniel first laid eyes on Brie, he was completely captivated. Her beauty, confidence, and radiant smile immediately caught his attention, but he was so intimidated that he convinced himself she was entirely out of his league.
What began as a chance introduction quickly grew into an extraordinary love story. Daniel soon discovered that while Brie was breathtaking on the outside, it was her heart that made her truly unforgettable. She possessed an extraordinary kindness that made everyone around her feel cherished and understood. She had an infectious laugh, a compassionate spirit, and a gift for bringing out the very best in the people she loved.
Over the next eight years, they built a life together rooted in unwavering trust, friendship, faith, laughter, and unconditional love. Brie became Daniel's greatest blessing, his best friend, his confidante, and the person he looked forward to waking up beside every single morning. She inspired him to become a better man, a better friend, and, most importantly, a better father. Together they dreamed about growing old together, creating lasting memories with their family, and building a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter.
Just days before her passing, while the two were enjoying a trip to Nashville, Daniel quietly began asking Brie questions about ring sizes and the style of engagement ring she loved. Unknown to him, Brie excitedly shared with her sister that she believed he was preparing to ask her to marry him. She joyfully said that her answer would be "yes," as long as he first asked her father's blessing. Daniel had already planned to do exactly that. Following Brie's passing, he honored that promise by asking her father for his blessing, who responded that he would have been honored to welcome Daniel into their family. Though Daniel never had the opportunity to ask Brie in the way he had planned, both knew the future they were building together was one that would have led to marriage.
Excited for the next chapter of their lives, Daniel and Brie were planning what they lovingly called their "forever home" a place where family would always come first and love would always be at the center.
To Daniel, Brie was God's greatest gift, the love of his life, and the woman with whom he planned to spend forever. Though their time together ended far too soon, the life they built, the family they created, and the love they shared will forever remain the greatest blessing of his life.
Brie and Daniel made their home together in 2022, where Brie instantly became the heart of their blended family.
From the very beginning, Gavin and Blake were never simply Daniel's sons to Brie; they were her boys. She loved them with all her heart and embraced them as her own. She celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged them through life's challenges, and found joy in every opportunity to spend time together. Whether they were making memories snowboarding at Arizona Snowbowl, riding through the dunes in Glamis, enjoying family vacations, or simply sharing everyday moments at home, Brie treasured every minute she spent with them.
She never tried to replace anyone in the boys' lives. Instead, she simply loved them so completely that they never had to question whether they were her own.
Brie's love transformed their family. She helped Daniel become an even stronger father by leading with grace, patience, kindness, and unconditional support. She encouraged him to be the leader he wanted to be for Gavin and Blake and reminded him every day that family is life's greatest blessing. Through her example, she taught the boys the importance of compassion, integrity, selflessness, and loving others without reservation.
Brie also embraced Daniel's family as her own. She made his mother, grandmother, siblings, and extended family feel deeply loved, valued, and included. She had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel like they belonged, and her warmth left a lasting impression on every person fortunate enough to know her.
Although her time with Gavin and Blake was far too short, the love, wisdom, encouragement, and memories she gave them will remain with them for the rest of their lives. She will forever be remembered not only as their stepmother, but as one of the greatest blessings they have ever known.
Friends:
Brie was blessed with more friends than could ever be named, each one touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel included, appreciated, adored, and she shared that love freely, never expecting anything in return. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, whether it was sharing everyday moments, celebrating life’s milestones, or making unforgettable memories on countless trips and adventures together. The friendships she built throughout her life are a testament to the extraordinary person she was, and the love, laughter, and memories she shared have left a permanent impression on the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Career:
As shared by Wells Fargo, Brie was an exceptional leader in Wells Fargo’s Business Exam Management, delivering consistent, high‑quality results, including a track record of successful exams while guiding complex audits, testing engagements, and emerging risk reviews, all with confidence and care. She brought people together, shared her knowledge freely, and showed up for others in a way that made colleagues feel invested in and part of something larger than their day-to-day work. Even more than her accomplishments, her colleagues will remember her warmth, kindness, and the genuine joy she brought to the Wells Fargo family. She made an impact for the company and the individuals within that will continue on beyond her departure.
Hobbies:
Everyone who knew Brie knew how no cute critter was safe from receiving her affection even if it did not belong to her. Our family remembers her first encounter with a rabbit that growled like a dog when anyone approached its cage. Brie understood the creature was hungry. She was first to figure it out. The growling noise prompted dad to nickname Brie the “rabbit that barked.” This title fit her perfectly because she spoke loudly when making her points in our family discussions. This skillset served her well in her career. She loved dogs, pigs, cycling / spin, hiking, traveling, UFC, concerts, watching sports with her father, and volunteering at various animal rescue organizations, like HALO and Aimee’s. Having the last name Love gave her a beautiful double meaning that she really embraced. Brie often used her name as both a part of who she was and a simple reminder to others about what mattered most. A lot of her shirts and hats reflected that spirit, with messages that encouraged love, kindness, and compassion. In both what she wore and how she lived, she embodied the values her name so perfectly represented.
It’s for this reason that we request in lieu of flowers consider sending a donation to one of the following organizations:
Aimee Farm and Animal Sanctuary https://aimeesfarmanimalsanctuary.org/
Love Pup Foundation https://lovepupfoundation.org/
HALO Animal Rescue https://halorescue.org/
Over the next few weeks, we’ll also be planning a Celebration of Life and dog rescue event in AZ in her honor. Our hope is to create something that truly reflects the beautiful life she lived, the kindness she showed to everyone around her, and the deep love and compassion she had for animals. We want this gathering to be a meaningful way to celebrate her memory, share stories, and continue the legacy of love and generosity she leaves behind.
Closing:
Brie will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and never-ending sense of humor, especially in the face of difficult situations. The way she always made people feel as if they were the most important in her life, will never be forgotten. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner, sister, friend, or daughter, and will miss her every day. Brie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her dearly.
She is survived by her parents, James and Beryl Love, and sisters, Jhvoir Hollis, and Niambi Blodgett.
