Bruce Boney Jr.

He was born January 19, 1949 son of the late Bruce N. Boney Sr. and Ruth Edna (Aikey) in Union County Pennsylvania.

Bruce was a 1966 graduate of Mifflinburg High School. He attended Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in Electronics Technology. He went on to work for Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia, PA for 25 years and went on to continue to work in the IT industry for several different places until his retirement.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Seon Boney; daughter, Michelle (Lance) Hoffman of Richwood OH; son, Bruce N Boney III of Baltimore MD; daughter, Alicia (Brian) Akamichi of Kaneohe HI; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Donald) Howard and stepson, Donnie Eastburn both of VA. Three granddaughters, Lauren, Jordyn, Pashense; two brothers, Mark (Patti) Boney of Lewisburg, PA and Michael Scott (Beverly Jean) Boney of New Columbia PA.

Bruce had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed hunting and anything gun related (gun shows, shooting competitions and collecting guns). He was an avid puzzler, something we did as a family when getting together. He loved wood working as well, making many pieces for the family, which his children and grandchildren have and will continue to cherish.

He was involved in his church family wherever in lived. He loved working behind the scenes with the audio/visual for the service to put on the web page and bring the services to the viewers at home.

He will be missed by his family and friends deeply.

Bruce will be cremated and a celebration of life will be at a later date in Pennsylvania with loved ones. No date planned at this time.
