Mr. Gibson is preceded in death by grandmother, Margie Sturgill, cousin, Owen Gigsonand his best friend Randy Lane.
He is survived by hisloving wife, Jaclyn Gibson his parents; Alfred and Carolyn Sturgill Gibson. A son, Carl Gibson Jr. age 7 and a daughter Carley Gibson age 15 and two sisters; Lisa Brown and Theresa Tubbs.
Carl was a supervisor for a construction business. He was a man who dearly loved his family, an avid hunter and a NASCAR and Dale Ernhart fan and a fan of UK basketball and the Miami Dolphins, he also played for Full Throttle Men’s Softball team in Stafford.
The family will receive friends Thursday May 22, 2014 from 6-7:30 pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd. a funeral service will be held at 7:30 at the chapel.
Interment will be in Kentucky at a later date.
