David Genovese

David was the beloved husband of Laurie, devoted father to Sarah (16) and Tommy (13), beloved son to Lorraine Ambrose (Myles), loving brother to Michael (Cheryl), Nancy Iannone (Frank), Susan Genovese, Thomas (Denise); also brother to Myles, Kathleen, Kevin, Elise, Nora and Christopher Ambrose; uncle to 9 nieces and 6 nephews, brother-in-law, son-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend to many. David was a beloved son to Mario Genovese, who precedes him in death.

David was born in Denville, NJ and grew up in Parsippany, NJ. He graduated from Parsippany High School in 1985 and went on to obtain an undergraduate degree in International Business at American University and an MBA at George Washington University. He was a Director with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The family will receive friends at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA 22554 on Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be offered at Saint Francis of Assisi, 18825 Fuller Heights Road, Triangle, VA 22172 at 11am Monday, January 2, 2012. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial to benefit children Sarah and Tommy can be sent to David Genovese Memorial Fund, Wells Fargo Bank c/o Branch Manager, 131 Garrisonville Road, Stafford VA 22554.
