Remembering David
David honorably served his country for 32 years, first as a United States Marine and later through his work with Marine Corps Systems Command. His beloved Corps meant a great deal to him, but his greatest love and proudest accomplishment was his family. He was a devoted husband to Sharon, his wife of 48 years, and together they were blessed with two children and five grandchildren.
Interests and Passions
David was an avid sports enthusiast whose enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Whether he was cheering on his beloved Baltimore Orioles or rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes, game days were always a highlight of his week. While he found great joy in staying active through running, racquetball, softball, and bowling, his absolute happiest moments were spent in the quiet beauty of the golf course. David spent countless hours at his favorite course where he was always chasing that next great shot and creating friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Family
David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sheila Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Phillips; his children, Jennifer Phillips and Michael Phillips (Rachel); his siblings, Fred Enlow and Dianne Enlow-Parker; and his grandchildren, Kara Phillips, Brandon Lyda, Emma College, Jensen Phillips, and Ethan Phillips.
