He was a Ret. 1st Sgt. with the US Army. He was an avid fisherman, gardener and was also known as “suzy homemaker”.
He is survived by his children, Brian Green of Stafford, Christopher Green and Sherrie Shopshire both of South Carolina; siblings, Fred, Bill, JoAnn and Esther; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, May 1 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 2 in Quantico National Cemetery.
