Dina Cruz de Iraheta, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was referred to as Mama Dina, was born on June 13, 1936 to Manuel R. Cruz and Sara de J. Ostorga. She tied the knot with Eriberto Iraheta on May 10, 1956, in San Agustin, El Salvador.
She is survived eight children, Carlos, Gladys, Leticia, Orlando, Sonia, Marlene and Esperanza, residing in Virginia and Lillian, residing in Maryland.
Mama Dina is also a survived by three brothers, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she was a farmer during her life in El Salvador.
Regrettably, Dina passed away on 12/24/2025 due to health complications stemming from kidney failure.
A visitation will be held at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, located at 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia, 22554, on January 1, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at St. William of York Catholic Church, 3130 Richmond Highway, Stafford, VA, 22554, on January 2, 2026, starting at 12:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia, on January 2, 2026.
