Donald “Donnie” Wayne Hunter, a beloved father, stepfather and grandfather, passed away in Richmond Virginia on February 3rd 2021. His career was spent at Dominion Energy as a lineman. He was an avid sports fan, loving Notre Dame Football, the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers. If you asked him he would also proclaim to be the number one Beatles fan.
Donnie was born April 6th 1957 and was a lifelong Virginia resident. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doris Hunter, and his brother Larry Hunter.
He is survived by his brother, Doug Hunter, his children, Brandon Hunter and Lauren Riahi, stepdaughters, Michelle Hall and Kristie Wells, and several grandchildren.
A small memorial service for immediate family will be held Thursday February 11th 2021 at Ciao Bella Celebrations in Warrenton Virginia. A virtual service option will be available for extended family and friends
