Donald Reynard

Donald “Boots” Reynard died peacefully at home May 5, 2025 with his family in Lottsburg, Va at the age of 78. Boots was born in Hagerstown, Maryland Dec 3rd 1946 to mother Sallie A. Higgs and Huston L. Reynard.

He served his country proudly during Vietnam in the United States Army earning several medals and honors for his skills and dedication until he was honorably discharged however the values and discipline he learned carried though for the rest of his life.

Donald went on to Colonial Circuits in Fredericksburg Va where he was a DES operator for over 30 years until his retirement, he had impeccable work ethic and truly loved what he did.

He was preceded in death much too soon by his Wife Judith Reynard whom he married Dec 11th,1965, son Anthony Wayne Reynard & daughter Cheryl Lynn Reynard, best friend and brother-in-law Charles P Mallory.

He is survived by his grandson, Dylan J Reynard; niece, Christine L Mallory; nephew, Charles E. Mallory; great nephews, Geoffrey Mallory and Gage Diener; & “son-in-law”, Paul R. Altman.

To know him was to love him, he made friends wherever we went & his smile could make even the coldest of hearts smile with him.

Boots was a fierce protector to those he loved and his generosity and resolve knew no limits, his views, values and memories will help guide us until we meet again.

A graveside service for Donald will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia
