To the family,
My thoughts and prayers are you all. I'm sure that you know the source of your strength, just as George Anne did.
George Anne was a dedicated and determined warrior, a tireless worker for causes she embraced and a fearless, challenging voice for them, a voice we have sorely missed since she left. My last memory is of a 6 am. taping we did on behalf of a NCNW program. We were laughing about not wanting to get up so early.
Whether you agreed with her or not, she earned your respect. Heaven is that much richer because of her loving spirit. May she rest in peace.

Geoffrey, Margot , and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. There are no words to comfort this great loss you have sustained. I only know how you feel. Take comfort in that your mom is with our lord and savior. He is loving on his beautiful child that she has come back home to him. I pray you will lean on those people you love to get you through this tough time in your lives. I pray that you might have strength and comfort. Remember all the Good times, and hold them close to your heart. I am sad I never had the chance to meet your GeGe, but from all the stories from Geoff and speaking to her briefly, I know for sure she was Loved by all who knew her, and she had a beautiful spirit! She lives in you and your children, and she is never too far away. My prayers, and love are with! 🙏🏽❤️

I was saddened when I heard of George Anne transition. I worked on a few projects with her. She stood for what she believed in. I loved her sense of humor, and had to turn my head from her on a few occasions to keep from laughing. She will be missed!

To the family of George Anne Duckett - it is with a sad heart that I send my condolences to you. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to be friends with and associated with her in many different aspects. It will be the great times of working with her on programs @ Booker Washington Community Center and with the Black Theater Ensemble that I will truly hold as good times in my heart. Be well family. My prayers, thoughts and love are with you Geoff, Margot and your family. I am sad I didn’t get a chance to meet her. However, what an amazing son and daughter in law to represent her. May peace and the best of memories carry you all through the low points in the journey ahead.
