Mrs. Ronda Powell and family,

At a time like this it's difficult to find the right words to express my deepest sympathy for Glenn's passing. I trust and pray God will continue to bless you and the Powell family. I met Glenn after he retired from the Army and joined the U.S. Secret Service. Glenn was a very special professional and always FIRST CLASS! We loved Glenn and he'll be missed. Hooah!

To Rhonda and Family,

My deepest sympathy, extended condolences and prayers are with you family during this bereavement.

I met Glenn many years ago while he was assigned to the White House Military Office and supported Air Force One. He was always pleasant, wore a beautiful smile, and treated everyone with kindness. Never once did I hear him complain or speak evil of anyone.

Glenn, served this nation and the Presidents he served under with courage, distinction and dignity. A good man and a job well done. To Glenn: Sir, rest in peace as you have gone from labor to reward.

Deepest sympathy and prayers,

Deacon Jose A. Brown
USSS-Retired

My sincere condolences to the family. When I think of Glen the word "thoughtful" comes to mind. He met me one time but yet when he saw I was down he reached out to me.
I looked forward to the GRILL MASTER every week showing off his skills on the grill and taking us back in time with good music.

I would like to extend my family’s heartfelt condolences to the Powell family. It was such sad news when I heard that a Glenn had passed. I was privileged and honored to serve with Glenn at the WHTA in 2001 - until his retirement. I purchased his book and called him to get his autograph and he laughed and said sure anytime brother. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his book signed. But I still have his Grill-master videos, getaways with Ronda, pictures of his family, and beltway/ I-95 cruises. Glenn was always smiling and always displayed positive vibes his light is only dim. Glenn’s accomplishments will stand true to the test of time. Rest Easy Soldier Job well done. My dearest Mrs. Ronda Powell & family, I met Glenn on a warm Sat morning about 7 years ago at the invite of his best friend "Joe Ramsuer" We three broke bread at a local breakfast cafe and during that brief time while enjoying bacon, eggs etc., Glenn immediately became a "instant" friend as he touched my life. I immediately liked Glenn because of his infectious smile, confidence and healthy vitality. Aspiring because of his positive "can-do" energy and abundant optimism. SFC Powell "Glenn" is a courageous person that believed in the "good of man-kind" Salute Buffalo Soldier - gone to soon! SGM O JONES
