Hanna was born in Germany on Sept. 5, 1940, to Johann and Maria Schmidt Neubert. Prior to retirement, she was employed in food services with Stafford County public schools.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Henry and husband Ron; a son, Thomas Moore; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Berta Martin; and a brother, Georg Neubert.
Hanna was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her cats.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, with interment to follow in Stafford Memorial Garden.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the local SPCA.
