Janet Corbin

Janet was born on April 19, 1947, to the late Emmanuel Calloway and Easter Williams.

Janet loved her family and is survived by her sisters, Rosetta Greer, Lorraine Wilson (Shelton) (deceased), Jacqueline Gibson, Sylvia Pearson and Esther Mason; and her brother, Emanuel Calloway and a host of relatives and friends.

She alone raised 3 daughters, Sharone Locke, Danitta Futrell, and Danita Corbin and 3 of her grandchildren. She has 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Janet was passionate about worshipping GOD. She was a true exemplary for God and she always encouraged others to keep the faith as he will see them through. She never looked down on anyone and treated everyone with respect. She held her head high when slapped then turned to have the other cheek slapped.

Janet received her GED and worked tirelessly for herself house cleaning until her death. Her hobby was gardening as she loved flowers and trees. Early in her teens, Janet was crowned a beauty queen as she was beautiful inside and out. She had a heart of gold and always helping others.
