

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Cadugan; his son-in-law, Joe Cadugan; his grandsons, Sean Cadugan and Michael Cadugan; his granddaughter, Katherine Cadugan, all of Triangle, Va. His daughter, Lori Stewart and son-in-law, Joseph Stewart; granddaughter, Andrea Stewart; and grandson, William Stewart, all of South Carolina. His granddaughters, Mina Millikan and Emily Smith; great grandson, Oliver, all of South Carolina, and granddaughter, Ruth Smith of Charlotte, NC.
Joe will also be greatly missed by his sister, Lindy Gough; brother-in-law, Marion Gough of Swoope, Va; his brother, Roger Ergenbright; and sister-in-law Patty Ergenbright of Churchville, Va; his brother, Ray Ergenbright and sister-in-law, Carol Ergenbright of Staunton, Va; his sister, Sharon Buchanan and brother-in-law, Mac Buchanan of Saltville, Va.; his brother-in-law, Buddy Thomas of Fishersville, Va; his brother-in-law, Winfred Ramsey of Raphine, Va; and his sister-in-law, Gwen Ramsey of Lake Charles, La;
A number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Faye (Ramsey) Ergenbright; his parents, Charles William Ergenbright and Nellie Clatterbaugh Ergenbright; his daughter, Stephanie Smith; and his sister, Bonnie Thomas.
Joe was an Air Force veteran. In 2004, he retired as an electrician from American Safety Razor in Verona, Va. He enjoyed woodworking, reading Westerns on his Kindle, and “piddling”, as he would say (working on random projects around the house he built).
