John William Bolen Jr.

John was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend to all that loved him. John graduated from Garfield High School in Virginia. John had a career with Shenandoah Pride Dairy. He was married to the love of his life for over 40 years and he now joins her in heaven and they are together once again.

John was a beloved father and grandfather who cherished his family dearly and tried to provide for them in every way he could. John would light up when he and his granddaughter had their weekly phone calls.

John was truly one of a kind and will be remembered for his personality, sense of humor, and the way he could make a lasting impression on anyone he met. John enjoyed talking about sports, historic stories, but most of all talking about his children and granddaughter.

John will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family through memories created and stories shared. We find comfort knowing he is at peace and watching over us from above with pride in his eyes. We love and miss you Dad and Grandad!

Visitation will be held at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, on September 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
