He is survived by a son, Troy Griffis of Spotsylvania County; three daughters, Charlotte "Tutti" Green of Florida, Tammy Banks and her husband, Terry, and Jill Bratton and her husband, Ricky, all of Stafford; one sister, Mary Wilson of Stafford; three grandsons, Matthew Banks, Bobby Green and Rusty Green; four granddaughters, Samantha Banks, Katie Bratton, Allison Bratton and Kori Pearson; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service for Mr. Griffis will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel.
