She was the beloved wife of Dick Hybl; loving Mother of Richard Hybl, Robert Hybl (Carrie), Rachelle Moles (Tim), Rebecca Richey (Anthony), and Rueanna Campbell (Bill); cherished “Grammy” of Krissy Klein (Chad), Matt Fox-Moles (Katy), Danny Fox-Moles, Torie Kersey (C.K.), Josie Douglas (Mel), Michael Fox-Moles, Justin Bolden, Claire Hybl, Colleen Hybl, Jacob Bolden, Emily Hybl, Lauren Hybl, Patrick Hybl, Maggie Hybl, and Sarah Hybl; and precious Great Grandma of Taylor Klein, Bailee Klein, Payton Campbell, Kailyn Klein, Bryden Klein, Mya Douglas, Kason Klein, and Sophie Douglas. She was preceded in death by her father Homer P. Boddorf, mother Anna LaRue Mckenna Boddorf, brother William Boddorf, and sister Jane Halquist.
Katherine was born in Kane, PA on September 18, 1938. She graduated from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. Kathy worked in numerous hospitals caring for newborn babies until having babies of her own. She was a loving Christian woman who instilled her values in others. Kathy was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Triangle, VA where she was involved in Sunday school, alter guild, women’s ministry, and various other areas. She relished spending time with friends and family whether it was sitting on the front porch or chit-chatting over her favorite tv shows. Kathy enjoyed taking care of others through her cooking, babysitting, and cleaning house. She spent her lifetime forming, inspiring, and nurturing those around her. Kathy will be missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Triangle, VA. Burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford.
