My cherished memories of Kayla are of her childhood.  I fondly remember her joyous laughter as we played tag at the playground till she tired me out; going to Friendly’s for ice cream dessert; her childish giggles as she “styled” my hair (as little girls would do) while we watched TV together; and her impish glee in teasing me endlessly by calling me “Gramps”.  I watched her grow into a beautiful, young woman.  Every time I saw a photo of her, she reminded me how much she resembled her mother at that age.  As evidenced by the tributes from her friends and co-workers, Kayla’s beautify was also from within as she touched so many other’s lives.

She's lived with us for three years. It was like she was apart of our family. Like a daughter and a sister.  We're going to miss her alot. She will forever live on in our hearts.

Kayla was a coworker of mine for 3 years at Inova Fairfax Hospital and she came into work everyday with a big heart, a beautiful smile, and was so kind to everyone. Kayla was so loving towards myself, other employees and patients. She touched my heart and her loss has been very hard for me and all others. I pray for her soul, she was an angel on earth and now in heaven. She was kind, giving, and was always there for anyone and everyone in need. I love her and I will miss her.  My deepest condolences to the family of Kayla 

My deepest condolences to the family of beautiful Kayla- her beautiful soul will forever be in my prayers. I worked with Kayla at Inova Fairfax Hospital, we instantly became friends, she was such a beautiful soul. I was sick earlier this year and Kayla was so concerned with my well-being and checked up on me to make sure I had everything I needed. This just shows a small portion of how caring and selfless Kayla was; she was a true angel. I am so glad to have met such a beautiful human inside and out. I’ll never forget her smile, her radiance, her aura and the love she gave to everyone around her. Kayla will always be in my heart and prayers.

I am a coworker of Kayla's and I am heartbroken by her loss. She had a gentle soul, and was one of the hardest working people I know.  She was so conscientious and professional at her job.  She always went above and beyond what was expected of her.  She is sorely missed by the staff at Inova Fairfax OBED.  I will always remember her for how beautiful she was inside and out.  My sincerest condolences.
