Obituary of Kilbert Anthony Majors
Kilbert Anthony Majors, 60 of Stafford passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born, March 8, 1958 in Halifax County, Virginia to Mary Childress Majors and William Douglas. He became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1980. He loved to sing and tell jokes. His co-workers and the young one’s in the Kingdom Hall called him the “Candy Man”. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, friend, and brother-in-law. He loved working outside in trees and with his grandchildren. Most of all he loved skating to music and swimming. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Boyd Majors; two children, Consqulia (Mimi) DeLeon and Jason Majors and wife, Audra; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Caitlyn, Haliegh, Emilio, Anthony, Dylan, and Devin; brother, Kenneth Majors and wife, Marlene; three sisters, Roshell Springs and husband, Eli, Barbara Majors, and Loretta Boldin; father, William (Timmy) Douglas Majors Sr.; his adopted daughter (Cookie) Theodora Majors; two uncles, Theodore Majors and wife, Gracie, and Thomas Majors and wife, Bettie; mother-in-law, Alice Boyd; six sisters-in-laws; five brothers-in-laws; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony O’Brian Majors; mother, Mary Childress; two brothers, Douglas and Darrell Majors, granddaughter, Yasmine Cheyanne DeLeon; paternal grandparents, Johnny E. Majors and Edna Logan Majors; maternal grandparents, Tom and Emily Childress; and aunt Carolyn Majors Coles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 939 Ramoth Church Rd., Stafford, VA 22554. Burial will be private.
