On May 30, 2024 Kyra graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School. She was a bright, talented and smart student, who prided herself in making good grades and graduating. Kyra also found pleasure in working at NuVegan as a server.
Kyra was a devoted daughter, sister, niece and cousin. She enjoyed family fun, family cookouts, art, painting, music, alone time and let’s not forget her random dance moves that she would come up with. She had a fun, vibrant but crazy attitude we all grew to love. She was a joy to be around, you could never be sad in her presence. She stayed on joke time and was truly the life of the party just like her mother was.
Kyra was preceded in death by her mother, Carin D. Thompson; Francis Decarlo Thompson (Grandfather); Annie Gray Hyman (Great Grandmother); & William H. Hyman (Great Grandfather).
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, brothers: Brian Byrd, Aaron Fisher, Jamil Richardson, Keith Byrd (Jr) and Dontae Byrd.
Brenda Hyman (Grandmother), Aunts- Brenda Thompson, Carla Thompson, Carlene Cobey and Rhonda Proctor and one uncle, Francis Decarlo Thompson Jr (DT). A love of cousins just to name a few: Aaliyah, Makailah, Elijah, Amariah, NeVaeha, Destinee, Tahirah, Brayden, Imani, Nakia and a host relatives and friends.
Kyra’s life was a true testament to love, enjoy family, live life and have fun. Her favorite saying of life was, YOLO! LONG LIVE KYRA ❤️ #FOREVER18
