Man Ki Kang, 72, passed away on December 10, 2025, surrounded by love. He lived a life rooted in devotion to his family, quiet resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility toward those he cared for.
Born on September 27, 1953, Man Ki was a man of few words but with a great heart. He showed his love through his actions—by always being there, by working hard, and by putting his family first. He was steady, dependable, and gentle, the kind of person whose presence alone brought comfort and calm.
Man Ki was a devoted husband, a loving father to his son Jong Kang, and a cherished presence in Sojung’s life. Becoming a grandfather brought him immense happiness, and his two granddaughters Janice Kang and Joyce Kang were a constant source of pride and joy. He loved them deeply and found great meaning in watching them grow.
Those who knew Man Ki will remember his quiet humor, his patience, and the way he listened more than he spoke. He faced life’s challenges with humility and strength, never seeking recognition, only wanting the best for those he loved.
Man Ki leaves behind his beloved wife, Jae Sook Kang; his son, Jong Kang, Sojung Kim, and his two precious granddaughters, Janice Kang and Joyce Kang. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his love, values, and gentle spirit will live on through his family and in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be missed more than words can express and always remembered.
May he rest in peace.
A visitation will be held on December 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, located at 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia, 22554. His Celebration of Life will follow.
