Mrs. Ferguson is preceded in death by her husband James Ferguson.
She is survived by her parents; Richard and Lena Strayer as well as three children; Angela Todd (Timothy), Jeff Douglas and Kristina Horvath, six grandchildren, and two sisters; Carmel Plage and Christine DeGarmo.
Maria was professional photographer who loved taking photos and nature, and was active with the “610 Cruisers”.
The family will receive friends on Monday December 1, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Rd. where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 2, at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 11am where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
