Mark was preceded in death by his brother Carter Johnson.
He is survived by his stepfather, Robert D. Walker, and his mother, Betty Walker of Martinsville; six children; one stepchild; two brothers; two sisters; a stepsister; and a stepbrother.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road, where a brief memorial service will be held at 12:30.
Interment will be private.
