She is survived by four children, Mary Brennan of Charlottesville, Granville Hampton of Christiansburg, Cathy Wood of Stafford, and Gloria Hampton of Leesburg; three siblings, Ralph Carroll, Catherine Kennamer, and Tommy Carroll; and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Shaun, Carolyn, and Kaeli.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel at 11:00 AM, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
