Matthew Bashor

Matthew Douglas Bashor, age 19, passed away on January 15, 2021. He was born on May 7, 2001, in Detroit, MI. Matthew was the son of Ricky Bashor and Misun Park. Matthew traveled the world with his family and lived in Germany and South Korea before moving back to the United States where he graduated from Mountain View High School in 2019. Matthew was a kind-hearted and compassionate person. He loved music and had aspirations of becoming a music producer. In his spare time, Matthew loved playing and watching sports. He especially loved playing with his dog Paco, playing basketball, working out, and hiking. Other hobbies he enjoyed were scale model building and playing video games. Matthew had a shy laugh, but he had a beautiful smile that lit up the room. He was a humble person who loved his family dearly. He especially loved his nieces Taylor and Riley Crisler. He is survived by his parents Ricky Bashor and Misun Park, his sisters Heather Crisler and Cheryl Bashor, his brothers Mark and Jason Bashor. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you gather your family, hug them. Tell them how much you love them and how important they are to you.
