He was born June 30, 1982, in Newport News, a son of Anthony and Karen Walker of Stafford County.
Michael graduated from Brooke Point High School in 2001 and the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh in 2003.
He loved spending time with his family, his many friends and his beloved cat, BeBop. He enjoyed the beach, surfing, BMX biking and working in four-star restaurants.
He is survived by his father and mother; his brother, Joseph Walker of Arlington; and a large extended family.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road.
