It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Mildred “Mily” Brown - Barcenas who was born on June 24, 1947 in Panama City, Panama and passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025 in Stafford, Virginia (United States).
Ms. Brown was a passionate artist, a kind soul and a world traveler first as flight attendant and later as a military spouse. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education with a concentration in English and found a passion for teaching children in her hometown Panama City.
She is survived by her daughter, Mildred George and her husband, Roberto George; granddaughters, siblings and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Arraijan, Republic of Panama.
