She is survived by her loving husband, Owen James; two sisters, Betty Metrick Beckly and Sandra Allison Daniels; three loving daughters, Rebecca James, Pamela James- Kestner and husband, Randy Wayne Kestner Jr., and Jennifer James; and two grandsons, Jacob Owen Schrader and Jonathan Wayne Kestner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Covey Raines and Thelma Toney; three brothers, Danny Raines, Michael Raines, and Rodger Raines.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel at 2:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
