Patricia Swor

She was born on May 7, 1953 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to James Shackelford and Evelyn Thomas Midgett.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Ashley Shackelford.

Patricia’s father served in the Navy and she spent her childhood in various cities. Eventually as a young girl her family settled in Va. Beach, Virginia where she graduated from Princess Anne High School. Patricia and her future husband, Bill, moved to northern VA in the early 1980’s. Bill and Patricia married in 1988. She then began a successful career in the car business. Patricia loved puzzles, painting, the beach, the mountains, and making memories with her family.

She is survived by her husband, William; son Jeffrey William Bennett; and sister, Cheryl Roberts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel at 11:00 am, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Stafford SPCA.
